As with all of the scientific and consciousness-related subjects I explore in Frontiers of Knowledge, an active role by spiritual intelligence in our universe appears more and more required if we are to find explanations for the many new discoveries, including those of evolutionary biology (see my latest post on this topic under Science: A New Era). I would like to add a quote here on this subject from Chinese paleontologist J. Y. Chen who had a major role in the 21st-century excavating of Cambrian-era fossils in southern China. At a Washington University conference in which Chen presented the new material that shed doubt on Darwin orthodoxy, he was questioned by another scientist about expressing his doubts so freely given that he lived in a society that suppressed dissenting opinions.
Chen came back with, “In China, we can criticize Darwin, but not the government. In America, you can criticize the government, but not Darwin.” (Meyer, Kindle Locations 962-963)
